Casey approaches even the most pragmatic of situations through the lens of his creative mind. In his early twenties, he began an apprenticeship in ceramics, followed by working as an arborist, specializing in artistic pruning of centuries-old California Coastal Live Oak Trees. Casey's passion for writing and creativity was evident to all who knew him, with many believing he would one day be a freelance writer or poet, already working for Jet and Sepia Magazine, interviewing musicians and expressing his creativity in his free time.
Casey's passion for designing jewelry has always been a constant in his life, with him creating his own pieces. The establishment of Casey and Shaun Design has been the culmination of his lifelong dream, and he spends his days and nights in his oceanfront studio, crafting jewelry inspired by the vibrant colors of Costa Rican sunsets, the ever-changing Pacific Ocean blues, and the country's rich natural hues. Throughout his journey, Casey's wife Shaun has been his constant support, and their love and creativity have been the driving force behind the success of their business.

Shaun has had a lifelong passion for fashion and design, cultivated during her childhood in California where she developed an affinity for sewing. By her teenage years, Shaun had already begun creating her own clothing, selecting premium fabrics and styles to suit her tastes. While Shaun's career path took her into the world of travel as a flight attendant, she also enjoyed success in her own fitness and training business in Hollywood alongside her husband, Casey.
Her love of travel ultimately led Shaun to Costa Rica, where she and Casey found new inspiration and creativity. Casey's passion for jewelry design and creation, combined with Shaun's fashion background and design expertise, led them to collaborate on jewelry collections from their stunning seaside studio in Costa Rica. Together they share a passion of commitment to creativity and boundary-pushing results in the creation of timeless and captivating pieces.
